Since we have found out we are moving a in few short weeks we have been on the hunt for a place to live, in New York City...
I knew rent in the city would be high, but I never thought it would be THAT high. I am already starting to see the huge differences between the city and small town Iowa.
Watching "Funny Farm" and laughing at the contrast. They move out of the city and into the country and here we are moving from the country into the big city.
I am getting more excited. The places we have found are so typically New York. I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for us, where we will end up, and all the new people we will meet.
I was nervous, but now I am starting to welcome the move with open arms. It will be an adventure and I will be going on this adventure with my best friend. What more could I ask for?!
Just a tip you might want to try, since you guys are new to the city, you might consider calling a rental agency and giving them information as to what you are looking for in a place. It might make your hunt easier and you might get a better deal! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteAfter visiting your parents' this afternoon it's starting to make it all real. You're leaving. Though it makes me very sad to think of you leaving town, I'm VERY excited for you. I'm even jealous!! I expect you to Skype with me ASAP and post/email pictures!! Love you bunches. Live it up. Obviously, God has tons of plans for the two of you.
