Hi there reader! My name is Mackenzie and I am a Midwest Wife through and through. I am new to the "job" but I am LOVIN' it!!!!! This blog is mainly about my husband and I and our life together. We've had our ups and downs just like any other couple, but the closer we grow together, and in the Lord, the stronger we become. We draw our strength from our love for each other, the ones we love around us, and Jeremiah 29:11 which says "For I know the plans I have for you 'declares the Lord', plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Its absolutely amazing how much this verse has applied to our life through out our relationship.
So when I say Midwest Wife I mean all that being a "housewife" entails. I love to cook. I love to keep house. I love photography. OH...and I love animals. So much so that our beagle Oliver will most likely have his own page soon. But check back for new recipes I am trying, crafts that I have attempted, and pictures that I take when I am in the right place at the right time. And of course, to hear about our life!
